Liliel is a first-generation Mexican American, special education teacher, Mother of two, Wife and athlete. She holds two bachelor’s degrees and brings more than a decade of experience educating children across a wide range of ages and abilities. At 5 Star Jiu-Jitsu & Strength & Conditioning, she combines that background with firsthand experience balancing training, running a business, and family life.
From softball to endurance sports, Liliel’s athletic journey has been shaped by teamwork, consistency, and a willingness to take on new challenges. Having completed a marathon before the birth of her second son, she now looks to tackle her first ultra this coming 2027.
She understands the commitment behind each finish line—and what it takes to make room for personal goals while caring for a family and running a business.
Her experience in special education adds an important perspective to the gym: people learn differently, progress at different rates, and benefit from support that meets them where they are. Having taught children of varying ages and abilities, Liliel brings patience, adaptability, and an appreciation for each individual’s progress.
Liliel is currently working toward certification in HIIT and HYROX group fitness classes, building on her athletic experience as she prepares to guide others in developing strength, endurance, and consistency.
Alongside her husband, Dillon Fraley, Liliel helps run the business behind 5 Star. Her background in education, sports, and motherhood brings a relatable presence to a community built around training, learning, and growing together.
